I saw a filthy, disheveled, malnourished, aimless grifter wandering about the other day. I asked him, "If I gave you $20, would it buy booze or drugs?"
He said, "No I've been clean and dry for five years now".
Then I asked, "If I give you $20 will you buy RC aircraft parts or supplies?" The man answered, "No, I gave that hobby up seven years ago when I was deep in the bottle".
I then offered, "I'll do you better than $20. I'll take you home, get you all cleaned up. Hair cut and new clothes. My wife will cook a fantastic meal for you. Then I'll take you anywhere you wish, and still give you the $20."
Perplexed, he asked, "Won't she get mad?", to which I responded, "That's no matter. I just want her to see what happens to a man when he stops drinking and flying RC!"
